Michael Dorritie

Michael Dorritie serves as Co-Chair on the National Conference Committee of the PHR Student Advisory Board. He is currently a second-year medical student and chair of the PHR chapter at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, NY. Originally from Long Island, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied Pre-Professional Studies and Spanish Language and Culture. Prior to medical school, Michael worked as a healthcare technology consultant, bringing big-data public health solutions to rural communities and improving medical access for local populations. At TouroCOM, he also serves as Treasurer of Student Government and sits on the executive board for the school's student-run health clinic, which recently opened its doors to the Harlem community in Summer 2018.

Rohini Kopparam

Rohini Kopparam serves on the Conference Committee of the PHR Student Advisory Board and is currently an MS2 at Weill Cornell Medical School. Rohini is passionate about gender equality and seeks opportunities to help vulnerable women from all over the world achieve this. After graduation, Rohini pursued research through a Fulbright Grant in Mumbai, India. She conducted qualitative research investigating the utilization of government initiatives to eliminate female feticide and empower girls under the mentorship of professors at the Tata Institute for Social Sciences. At Weill Cornell,Rohini is involved with the Weill Cornell Center for Human Rights as a Public Relations and Advocacy Coordinator.

Meredith Peck

Meredith Peck serves as Co-Chair for the 2018 National Conference Committee. She is currently a 3rd year medical student at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem and previously served as the Vice President on the 2017-2018 TouroCOM PHR Executive Board. Meredith received her undergraduate degree from Smith College with a B.A. in Biochemistry and a 5-College Certificate in Culture, Health, and Science. Prior to medical school, she conducted Biophysics research at Johns Hopkins and volunteered in a clinic for the uninsured in East Baltimore.
